to ask what is the best hoover

I have the Gtech Air Ram MK 2 and it's crap. Seems to leave more on the floor than it picks up.

I like how light it is , but the edge to edge is rubbish and I am not impressed at all.

What have you lot got that you rate highly?

Shark Pet best I’ve had. Copes with lots of dog floof!!! If it can manage our house I’d be pretty sure it can manage anything

Henry. I wish I'd not wasted so much money and bought one sooner. It does an amazing job.

Miele cat and dog - and we don't even have either, but the suction is amazing and it's very robust. Ours is over 10 years old.

I’ve got a cordless shark and it’s great. Had to use a Henry recently elsewhere and was reminded how annoying it is to use a corded hoover!

I second a Henry. Had them for years, they’re not fancy, but do exactly what you want a hoover to do. We have dogs and they’re great for pet hair.

I loved my Shark but after four years the suction is crap, I'm fed up of trying to unblock it all the time with its stupid solid bent pipes .....oh it drives me scatty!!

We've had a couple of the Mieles - a cat and dog that lasted about 10 years, then a C3. I found it quite heavy and a bit of a pain to move around - we were in a flat but now we are in a house with lots of stairs I started hating it - suction is good though!

I've got a cordless V10 now as well and love it - suction is fine and it is so much quicker to get out and have a quick whizz round.
