And what the hell do I do?

I’ve been doing keto and have lost about 1.5 stone in 6 weeks so quite rapid.

my lower tummy has deflated quite a bit… it’s hanging down a bit.

I’ve woken up some sort of hard boil on the underside of my “apron” - but I’m away from home and don’t know if i need this seen before Tuesday. It’s sore. Has anyone got any advice?

Any ideas?

Is it very tender and red? Do you feel bad?
hot flannel regularly, and a dressing over it.

FatAgain · 05/05/2023 08:21

No, I feel completely fine just miserable 😂

I'd want to have it seen, if it were me. I hope it gets better soon. Looks very sore. BTW I've done Keto twice and didn't ever have anything like this. Could be sweat-related from blocked pore? Either way, Flowers

Ime they usually just go on their own, obviously get it seen if it's looking infected or anything.

custardbear · 05/05/2023 09:31

Keep an eye on that, perhaps keep photographing it so you can see if it's growing

Please get it checked. I had exactly the same last year. It turned into an abscess which then ulcerated. I had to have it dressed daily and it took weeks to heal. I felt really poorly and it was very painful.

I mean I am wondering if if it’s related to super fast post menopausal weight loss and my skin not pinging back any more 🤮🤮

Sorry folks it’s just so grim.

Did it start off as a boil?

Keep an eye on it regularly until you get home, then see a Doctor.
If you notice red lines appearing to “run” away from the boil site, get yourself to A&E pronto.
Hope you feel better soon💐

Hi OP, yes started as what looked like a large spot, next day it had turned into an abscess so had to go to the docs. Antibiotics didn't do much at first then it ulcerated. Had to go to A&E as had a high temperature and couldn't get a docs appointment. They gave stronger antibiotics which eventually worked.

Same. Mine was throbbing in time with my pulse by the time it was treated. It took two courses of antibiotics, as well as lancing and daily packing for ten days TK get rid of it. They’re nasty buggers.

I'd post in Sporner Corner too, we're all awesome over there

I'd also be temped to draw around it so you can keep an eye on the redness
