To say Hazel Irvine is the best sports presenter out there

She's so good at all sports she does. Excellent in the Olympics, perfect on the snooker. Not sure anyone has ever had a bad word to say about her?

Could this be a topic that simply everyone agrees on!

She's had a lot of praise for her coverage at the Crucible. But so she should - she's very experienced. I like her. I like Gabby Logan too.

She is really under-used, I agree she’s excellent

She's extremely competent in a job which is trickier than it looks.

She lacks that additional spark that would make you pay attention to her rather than the sport - which is probably why she's not as famous as some of her peers, but that's fine, nobody watches the snooker for her, and there's no reason why they should.

Hazel is excellent, and I agree that she could & should be used more by the BBC. Kelly Cates is also outstandingly good, and is now one of the lead football presenters on Sky. Her family background obviously helped her get started in the industry, but she has got where she is because she’s good.

I really like her. She and Andrew Cotter are the dream team.

Totally agree. Helps that their soft accents meld together so well.
Hazel is very under utilised imo

I agree! Love Hazel and Kelly is the perfect presenter - warm and knowledgeable but comes across as not having a huge ego, like you could chat to her if you met her.
