To be annoyed that DS hasn’t woken up yet?

Lighthearted!
AIBU to be annoyed that DS (9 months) is still happily snoozing away when I need to give him some antibiotics?

Usually you can guarantee he wakes somewhere between 9 and 10 pm but the one day I actually want to do something with that time and he’s still sleeping!

I think I’m going to have to wake him up in a minute so I can go to bed otherwise the whole course will be at weird times 🤦‍♀️ poor little dude

Is it that banana stuff? I put it in milk. If he's not woken he's probably whacked, poor thing. Hope he feels better soon.

@HalloweenGhost I’m not sure what flavour it is but it smelled fruity, I’ve got a little syringe thing which I’m hoping he’ll take because we’ve never used a bottle

I feel so bad to wake him up, like you say he obviously needs it

Some babies will take it on their sleep.

SamanthaVimes · 29/04/2023 23:18

Bless him he actually took it ok. He’s gone back in his cot too which is an unexpected bonus, last few days he’s needed to come in with me once I’m in bed.
I’m going to get my head down and make the most of it whilst I can!

Poor little thing, he probably needs the sleep. Hope you get some sleep now and your little one feels better tomorrow.

"Fascinating "

🙄^ idiot.

I agree with others that he's probably feeling poorly that his body's naturally resting. But yes whenever they sleep well it's like "why am I still awake".

Often happens to me when I wake up in the middle of the night expecting little to cry awake, but they sleep. Then you stay awake waiting and waiting (or worrying)
