Bad bruise after blood test - how to get rid of it?

Had blood test recently and have had an awful bruise come up after. Has anyone else had that?
Any good bruise remedies?

Try arnica cream , works brilliantly and is a natural remedy. Any pharmacy will sell it.

Yes to a bruise after a blood test. But I just let it be and it went away on its own after a few days.

Arnica cream (not homeopathic tablets) is brilliant for bruises.

Thank you all will try Arnica! It’s in the inside of my arm . The nurse had to poke around a bit to get blood so I’m guessing that’s what caused it.

I bruise every time I have a blood test, and I have a lot of blood tests. Just wait it out - it will go away. IME arnica is great for bruises that hurt - that is when you have bashed yourself, but of no use at all when the bruise is caused by a leakage of blood when you have had a needle stuck into your vein.

I'm a nightmare to get blood from (I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and apparently my veins roll away from the needle < NOT envy!) so I'm always bruised after being stuck a million times. Last time, the nurse had to take blood from the back of my hand and I looked like I'd been in a fight

Next time, straight after the needle is removed, press hard on the area of injection. This stops the blood pooling in the area. The nurse usually tells you to do this. I have regular blood tests and the one time I rushed the pressure I got a massive black/blue bruise.

I had a massive bruise after one last year, but it went away of its own accord. There's nothing shameful in having a bruise!

Blood test bruises vary, I’ve had bad ones and very minor ones. They’re like any other bruises, they heal on their own.

It's too late now. Arnica does work, but not after the bruise has come out
