Ovulating from the ovary with the blocked tube

I've (finally) had a peak in my ovulation test tonight.. however I've also had a lot of stabby pains in my left ovary all day which I assume is ovulation. My left ovary is the one with the blocked fallopian tube 😭

Am I out this month or is it really likely that my other tube can pick up the egg? It seems so far fetched as my doctor said it's uncommon.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated!! Thank you

Advice on what? Your own doctor has told you it’s uncommon but possible. How would any of us be any better placed to advise on the likelihood of it happening?

When having fertility treatment I was told the good tube sometimes pick up eggs from the other side as the tubes are mobile. Can't remember what the chance is but as far as I understood it, not negligible. Good luck

Really hope so! I'd never heard of this before so was amazed when this was even mentioned as a possibility!
