My teen needs a blood test. Our surgery don't do it so we have to drive either 12, 16 or 20 miles to one of the nearest 3 places we can get one. The earliest appointment is 9 May and that's at the one furthest away.
On top of this there appears to be a supply issue with microgynon ed and they want me to drive to another pharmacy 4 miles away to try there. I found this out after 45 mins back and forth between the surgery and the pharmacy, because the nhs app says the prescription had been issued but the pharmacy say they didn't have it. When I got that sorted then I was told they did have any stock. I refused and asked them to get a gp to write a prescription for an alternative the pharmacy listed. What happens to people who can't drive? We're ruralish as well so it's not like public transport is great either.
