To ask for advice - iron levels related

Hi ladies - hoping for some advice! I did see a similar thread last week unless I’m going mad… but I can’t find it now

I’ve been tired for months and finally got blood test results back this week. I have a ferritin level of 2 as well as low folate levels & vitamin D

does anyone have any quick fixes for energy and getting up in the morning… I am struggling to get though the day regardless of how much sleep I’m getting.

i am waiting for an appt for an iron infusion but feels a lifetime away!
i have a 3yo DD and work full time so am used to being exhausted anyway but this really is next level!

Why so low? Have you had a Coeliac check, are you anaemic? Ferritin of 2 is good going 🥴

How low is your vitamin D? Presume you’ve had B12 checked too?

What oral supplements have you been prescribed for each?

You'll start to feel better after the iron infusion, and it can take a good few weeks for the vitamin d levels to improve. Right now, the best thing you can do is simplify your life as much as you can to enable rest.

Spatone helps as a top-up. It's not enough on its own but will hopefully give you a little boost. You take them with orange juice.
