To find this really odd and to be creeped out?

Don't you think this is weird. A random thought popped into my head on Thursday, I wonder if Caitlyn Jenner's mum is still alive as I remember her being quite old when on the show.

I googled it (attached pic of search history). Just noticed there on instagram that she actually died the day that randomly popped into my head and I googled, however, it wasn't announced until the Friday 21.04.23 so I had no way of knowing.

At first I thought I must have seen something and not registered but caitlyn didn't announce it until the Friday.

AIBU to think that's a bit spooky or is this just a coincidence?

Possibly a bit spooky. I dunno. Sometimes I've known weird stuff about people, guessing their occupations accurately without obvious reason. DH and I are a bit telepathic with each other. The world is complicated, and unknowable, at times.

I suppose you have to set it against all the random thoughts you have that don't have any real-life significance, so you don't remember having them. Confirmation bias.

Actually I think that is quite wierd, I mean how often in average do you think of CJs mum? For me never so it would be odd 🤷

Most people in the western world have heard of the Kardashians. Let's say 500 000 million people.

And someone is going to randomly think about the Kardashian's grandparents. Maybe after a thought that made you think of your grandparent.

Probably every single day, that thought is had at least once.

Someone is going to have that thought, and it just happened to be you.

That's true, just a mad coincidence.

It happened before I used to go to primary school with a girl whose mum had a physical disability. Hadn't thought about them in years. One day was driving the car and thought, 'I wonder how that mum is getting on now, if she is still alive etc'. That night I pulled into a shop car park and there was the mum coming out of the shop. Only time I've seen her since school and haven't seen her since.

Very strange.
