Hi we've just bought a house and I really like the colour of the walls. I asked the previous owner what paint it was and it's Farrow and Ball. I suggested to my husband we buy a pot in case we need to do any touch-ups and it's £100 a pot!
Is it really worth it, it seems extortionate.

So YABU - It's really worth the money, or YANBU - no you're paying for the name.

We have gone for colour-matched F&B, not the real deal. If you put a gun to my head I probably could tell the difference, but at the same time I figured I also live in a house which always has a book bag on the floor and a slightly grubby art gallery tote bag full of broken biros, receipts and oatcake wrappers hanging on the kitchen door handle so who am I trying to kid.

I've never found touch-ups of scuffs work well (in any paint!), inless its within a few months of the paint being applied. Newly applied paint just doesnt seem to exactly match older paint.

That’s the most hyacinth bucket thing I’ve ever read 😂

😂 I shop there myself! 😄 I’m just pointing out it really isn’t exclusive paint that is only available at Harvey Nichols (not that they sell paint as far as I’m aware! )
