i love him but we have 2 kids who i look after all day. they scream and cry cause they’re both under 2 and then he comes home and talks my ear off and asks me a load of questions etc i just want quiet i feel so burnt out

You would be unreasonable to tell him to shut up.
Im sure you can explain how you feel in a better way

Completely get it OP - sensory overload! But also understand his need to download. My DH was "can I just download when I get in - you don't have to really listen, just let me talk". Maybe you can suggest that he saves it for after the DC are in bed?
