It's in a residential care setting. A lady's call bell was ringing, I walked past the window and saw that my senior colleague was already in there with her so I figured they'd pressed by accident. She was sitting on her chair at the time of it going off.
Another colleague said we should attend anyway just in case, and indeed she was right.
She said she would attend herself as another bell went which I needed to attend to.
After she came back I asked if the lady was ok. My colleague said 'No, she'd fallen over and injured herself.'
I was really worried and went to check on her, I went to her room and bumped into another colleague on the way, told him what had happened.
I got to the woman's room and she was fast asleep in bed.
I went back to my colleague and said "Is she ok now, I've just been and she's asleep?"
My colleague said 'Yeah she never fell, I just said that because none of you answered her call bell so I wanted you to feel guilty."
I just didn't really say anything but I found it a bit odd and sly of her to make up something like that. I had seen through the window that she was sitting down and with the senior colleague.
