I wondered if anyone has experienced similar or has any words of wisdom whilst I wait for the elusive 'not clinically urgent so will take weeks if not longer' GP call back
I'm on period number 4 after having child number 3 ( 16 months, still BF. Other children are 8 and 3. ). Not sure if it makes a difference but he's the only one of my three to be born by cesarean ( emergency under general at 34 weeks). The first one was normal/fine but the next three have been so debilitating for the first 2/3 days that I've had to take time off from work. They're incredibly heavy, clots, extremely bloated, my entire abdomen area hurts (mix between constant dull ache then stabbing pains ) to the point I can't stand up straight, I'm nauseous, upset stomach...the works basically.
Pre children they were heavy but never that painful and very manageable. I just feel like there has to be something going on for them to be so debilitating. Fortunately my boss is very undertanding despite only being back from maternity leave for three months.
Husband is a medic and thinks they'll suggest going on hormone contraception before doing any kind of investigation which is something I really wanted to avoid after IVF for DC 2/pregnancy/breastfeeding/another pregnancy before stopping BF/more BF as I feel like my body has been through enough but willing to try anything at this point.
