AIBU to ask ex how DD is doing when she's with him?

ExH only sees DD for a few days every 5/6 months (his choice). This weekend, he asked if he could spend time with her at his, I agreed. However, a couple of days ago DD was complaining of a bad tummy and has generally been quite unwell lately, so naturally I am kind of worried about her. I messaged him a few hours ago, asking how she's doing but he didn't reply even though he was online loads of times.

I don't think that's unreasonable at all. Sounds like you're just trying to care for her.

Definitely not being unreasonable. I’d be the same., especially as he doesn’t see her often and she’s been ill. I mean if you were texting loads then it would be a bit OTT, but the odd one is fine.
