To get pissed instead of putting up IKEA enhet shelf unit?

Seriously, has anyone ever made these? WTactualF are the drawings supposed to mean? They make no sense at all.

There are some weird nobbly things which you seem to put in using another of the weird things and twist, but there is no way of understanding which way up they go.

Look for a video or ask in your local FB group if you can pay someone to build it for you.

There are loads of very good local flatpack builders in mine.

I've just had a quick look to see if I could make any sense of it (I love ikea flat pack assembly!!) There is an assembly video on the ikea website.

I’m normally pretty good at it but none of the videos have these weird nobbly things in them.

The video on the website shows him putting in some black plastic pieces and twisting them.

Don't do it if you have had wine, I managed to do a whole section back to front or upside down band it was very tricky to undo and fix and I was sober!

I love a bit of flatpackery and could probably tell you what the knobbly bits do if you posted a photo, but seriously woman it’s 7.30 on Saturday and there’s really no excuse for not already having a glass of wine in your hand. Sort yourself out.

I got pissed instead and binge watched something on Netflix. Will try again tomorrow once I’ve found my reading glasses and can see the detail on the video

IKEA outsource to TaskRabbit for assembling items and other tasks (I work in IKEA bathrooms!)

I DID IT!!!!!

No marriages were broken and I didn’t even need to hide any bits of it because I’d messed up
