Just posted on other thread about my fears that I can't afford to be a single parent in London if I leave with DC. If you are a single parent, live in London and rent how much do you have left after rent and travel. We live in London and rents are two grand for a two bed place (thats if you can get one), council tax 200, plus travel £180. I can't see me being able to buy anywhere.
