I know how you feel, and it's awful. Whenever I go out I try to be invisible, never looking at people in case they catch my eye.

But your friends know you and want you there, so please do go and try to enjoy yourself. Sorry I can't add anything helpful x

They're your friends OP they won't think anything except sad probably that you feel that way. Maybe they could support you if you wanted to lose weight (not tonight, in the future) I hope you have a great night 😊
