I know it's not cheap and I know there is a major mark up but I am sure when I went to see &Juliet a glass cost about £7.

Went to see Ghost story last night DSD likes rosa prosecco so treat us both to this and it was over £31?

It was Champagne wasn't it? Surely prosecco can't be over £15 per glass. BlushBlush

I do hate wasting money but live and learn.

£15 a glass in central isn’t unheard of.

Maybe it was then. It wasn't even nice luke warm in a plastic glass.

It's over £7 in our local pub in Scotland so would be unsurprised at that price in Londons west end - Rose is probably more expensive too

Well you pay around £15 a cocktail in Alchemist and other similar bars... it's the norm.

I went to a spa recently and thought I'd order a glass of fizz when I was sitting in the hydro pool so asked a passing waiter. He brought over two glasses for me and my H. They have a wristband system so you just leave credit card details with them.

It was only when I checked my credit card statement that I saw we'd been charged £34!!! We rang to query it and apparently he'd taken my order of fizz to mean Lanson champagne. Didn't even know I was drinking it!

Much tastier than my tepid drops.

The price of a bottle of Prosecco in my local (to work) is £32

You can get Veuve Cliquot at the Royal Opera House for £17. Doesn't seem quite so expensive after reading the prices of Prosecco...
