I just hate my job, it's been three months

I started a new job in January.

It's mostly from home, apart from a few meetings.

I'm bored being at home all day.

The work is boring.

It's a step up from the admin I've been doing but I find it all so boring.

I have no mates at work when I do go in the office.

I don't really have friends either outside of work.

Just found out I'm pregnant as well.

AIBU to find a job boring?

YANBU. I was in the same conundrum in the past and here’s how I figured out if it was the job for me:

Are there any aspects of this job you enjoy? If so - could you ask your manager to give you more work in that? Do the negatives outweigh the positives? Why did you accept the job to start off with? Was it because you needed money or is this a progression role?

I left my old job as I dreaded it everyday and have zero regrets. Found another one quickly and now I enjoy going to work.

I have a boring job, but it pays well and is very flexible & WFH which is convenient for the DC.

Honestly, now that you're pregnant, WFH could be a huge benefit if you're not feeling great and there's an end point when the baby arrives. I'd just wait it out knowing that it's not going to be forever.

I wanted to progress and wanted a fresh start from my old company.

I would go back to them in a heart beat though..... lol. Just my old team.

It's the isolation that's the problem!

If isolation is the problem then surely you need to resolve that you don't have any friends?

You sound bored with your whole life tbh. If you're bored of the job get a better one but that isn't gonna change the loneliness if you have no friends.
