This guy has more than 10m instagram followers yet chose to use his platform to normalise the use of a racial slur against Asians to millions of his fans.

His apology is a joke

In this day and age, there should be no debate about whether the word has racist connotations, it's offensive, end of.

They make their living saying ‘shocking’ things and obviously think that can go over into racist language too. I would like to think it didn’t come from a place of racism but if you say words like that, you’re rightly going to get people calling you out. It’s not acceptable.

As for his apology, I’m not sure what else he could say after the event. He said sorry, there’s no excuse and he shouldn’t have said it.

Jeremy Clarkson has come back from worse, multiple times. Let’s hope KSI isn’t judged more harshly because he’s black.
