To not have realise that ppc is cheaper than monthly prescription.

Just been looking at the pre paid prescription certificate. It is £111 for a year (different payment options you don't have to pay annually).

I always assumed that it was more expensive than a monthly prescription. But given most prescriptions arent actually monthly but 28 days so you have 13 in a year the prepay is cheaper.

You only need 11 prescription in a year for the numbers to work out.

yes, I pay £10.81 monthly for a ppc. So if you get more than one med a month it is definitely more economical.

PPC are great if you need more than one medication (my prescriptions are generally 2 months at a time, so one wouldn’t save me money.)
