AIBU to not pay my TV licence fee anymore?

I'm sick of the corrupt nature and backhanders that go on and I no longer want to pay towards it.
Having looked into cancelling my license, it seems you need one to watch any live tv, not just the BBC! How is this right? What the fuck has it got to do with the BBC if I want to watch another channel?!!

Don't pay, it's your choice. If you know the rules and make an informed choice you don't really need to ask everyone else what they think

Nothing will happen,you will get a,series of increasingly threatening letters ,which you can ignore,they are on a loop from.being quite I understanding to.we have started and investigation ,blah blah ,just ignore they will continually repeat the same loop if someone does turn up,don't engage or open the door to.them they have zero powers.
