To ask how long the NHS wait is for IVF and where to go for private treatment?

Just that really. Any ideas?

My gp said 6-12 months but obviously could vary.

I don't know whether to rely on this and therefore just go private?

In which case where to start for a reputable provider as I've been scammed by fertility doctors in the past so a bit wary.

Bourne Hall, Cambridgeshire.

Where in the country are you? We have been referred to NHS fertility clinic (for ovulation induction, not IVF). Online on the hospital website it said a 26 week wait for 1st appointment, but when the letter came, it is actually 3.5months between GP referral and appointment.

It depends where you are. I would 100% go private. The Lister Clinic in London was 1st class for us. Not local but worth travelling. Good luck x
