One child finishing school this year, and adult DH.
I'm trying to eat healthier, but so many attempts have been derailed by family not liking this and not liking that. I'm not doing extreme diets, just trying to make normal food but with more veg and less processed. Objections are things like, 'I don't like peas/mushrooms/brown rice/wholegrain pasta/fish.' I end up getting fed up of making two dinners and go back to the usual.
I've realised that I can do this: when I figure out what I'm cooking I can send a message to the group chat. "I'm making fish and brown rice for dinner. The recipe also has peas. If anyone wants something else there is a jar of pasta sauce in the cupboard, and ordinary dried pasta in the cupboard too."
