To want to scoop her up and give her a big kiss?

I'm talking about the neighbourhood DCat.

She's gorgeous, lovely markings, obviously well looked after - coat in good condition. Every time I see her out and about I stop what I'm doing in admiration.

Actually though, I would never scoop her up, or anything as I'm very mindful about not wanting to invade a lady's personal space.

This thread was inspired by the thread on the tail being ones own responsibility !!

But anyway, while not scooping her up as respecting space and all that AIBU to want much more prominence in general given to DCats ... I mean come on they are

soooooo cuuuute

There’s a beautiful elderly cat who runs over to me when I get out of my car. We started with a scritch between the ears and have since progressed to scooping up and kissing 😂 her owner saw me once and absolutely pissed herself laughing but didn’t mind at all! I see her a few times a week for our little cuddle. She’s a lovely old thing 🥰

Aw she sounds gorgeous !! 😍 thing is I will smooth her if she comes up to me specifically - a lot of people stop and make a fuss of her ❤️

I have a harem of various cats that I fuss near my house.
I know all of their owners (and often look after them during holidays) so it's all above board.
There's one in particular that I pick up for cuddles when his owners are away as he's a very affectionate boy and misses his people.
I'm not trying to steal any of them.

I once had a cat that everyone wanted to chat with. He belonged to a neighbour initially, but eventually became mine cos she wasn't caring for him. He was such a character. Really miss him.

We have a beautiful short haired but fluffy white and ginger cat who lives up the road from us. He (I assume) has a very little meow which is so cute, and he is so friendly I have told dh if he is homeless and unloved I would take him in, in a heartbeat.
Not sure our dog and cat who live here would approve though🤔

We have a cat visitor in the summer. Hes a neighbours old boy, we know his name now but didnt a few years ago and the kids lovingly call him phil. He hibernates through the winter and we can tell when its getting warmer because he appears again. Hes such a sweet boy and pops in when the gates open or waits for the kids to get out the car when we pull up.
