I have a cold which I realise isnt a big deal but I really really need to not be snotty and sneezing by 6am tomorrow morning.

I have Vick and cold and flu tablets and have taken some of the kids multivitamins. Does anyone have any tricks to getting rid of a cold super quick? I am wiling to try anything.

Vicks first defence, good chicken soup with garlic bread and add extra garlic. As much garlic as you can bear!

Antihistamine and Nasal spray

Powder vitamin C, 1000 mg a few times a day.

If there was a way to get rid of a cold within hours, it would already be available to buy and would be making someone very, very rich.

There’s an old saying that goes something like... A cold, untreated, lasts 7 days. But a cold treated with cold & flu capsules, vitamin C and aspirin/paracetamol will only last one week.

I agree with you but if there is anything I can do that might relieve the symptoms even a tiny bit its worth a go. Currently melting my eyeballs over a steaming hot bowl of water and Vicks.
