Can I move my tulips and other bulbs before now, they are about to flower

We are doing the garden, was planned for summer but dh has a big trip over summer for work so we have moved it to now. I have around 100 tulips and hyacinths that will need moving. BUT I don't want to kill them. Can it be done? If so would it be better to move to pots or beds or the ground on the front garden?

I wouldn't move them at this stage. I would wait until they are dormant and the leaves have died off, then dig up the bulbs and re plant them in their different location.
