Any mental health social workers changed direction/moved sideways?

I’m a social worker of 15 years, always been a care coordinator in secondary mental health services. I’m so burnt out 😢

I have the option to retrain, and am looking into post grad options, but I don’t really know what I want to do ☹️

I’m interested in learning more about children and psychosis but I haven’t ever worked with kids and there’s no specific training for this.

Im also interested in psychology generally and thinking about a conversion course? I still want to stay in mental health related areas, I just don’t know what I could do?!

AIBU to ask for suggestions from others who have similar experiences or desires?

I have no experience however I just wanted to say my care coordinator has been worth her weight in gold to me. I can't imagine your job is easy but it makes a huge difference - thank you. Hopefully someone who can actually answer your question will be along soon!

Thank you @JoanneH12, I’m glad your care coordinator has been helpful 😊
