Don't really know what to do about this. Had builders round today (through a reputable company) who began work redoing an extension in the house.
They took the roof and part of the wall off and left it uncovered. There is now torrential rain, the floor is flooding and the power has gone off because of all the exposed wiring getting wet.
Should they have covered it before they left??

Yes, they ought to have done.

Daftasyoulike · 22/03/2023 22:20

Yes, of course they should! Get on the phone and tell them what's happening

How did things look today? @Polomints What have the builders said about it all? I hope they have sorted out the power & made everywhere safe.
So dangerous to leave you with electrics getting wet! Are they registered with any regulatory body?

That's horrifying. Complain!

I hope now you are a week on OP that things are looking much better.

WakeMeUpInspring · 29/03/2023 14:25

Blimey. Hope they got it sorted 🙏
