To think the Royals haven't got the charisma they need

I'm not anti them, and I think they mean well. But, hearing this thing about wanting everyone to volunteer in order to celebrate the coronation, I thought to myself I just don't think they've got the charisma or pull for the long term. There's some goodwill now towards the King I do think, but, especially without Harry, there's only William and Kate really and it just doesn't feel enough to sustain them in the years ahead.

Nothing against them at all but Kate and William seem a bit wooden. I’ve noticed they’ve changed their photography style to be more candid and less posed like Harry and Meghan but they still come across as a bit wooden. I’m really hoping the family can pull back together and put this past year or so behind them, they’re stronger together and H&M have more charisma.

Yes, Kate and William do appear to be trying to do things differently, like laughing more in photos and being more tactile. She seems a little aloof to me but probably nice enough, but William seems quite unrelatable.

I think KM usually looks great especially when at less formal occasions. I agree that heavy make up is unflattering but probably necessary under TV lighting. I imagine they were all up ridiculously early yesterday for hair, make up etc hence looking a bit tired. Her clothes always fit beautifully and she has great long legs which make clothes hang well, although she could do with putting on a few pounds!

I don't know. Many people seem to love them. Did the Queen have charisma? I'm not so sure, yet she was universally loved. I think people like them for what they stand for - a sense of Britishness and patriotism.

You do know that they are Royal. Not an offshoot or Kardashians. Their whole USP is being inaccessible and above celebdom. The ‘mystique’.

I don't think charisma is the right word, but the Queen had mystique. Built up over decades. I agree the current lot don't have very much to recommend them.
