The police moving on the homeless

Saw police officer the other day moving on the homeless. Not sure whether I disagree with this. What’s the wider general consensus on this??

I suppose it depends if the person was blocking a doorway for instance if someone was trying to open a shop. But in London the police don’t tend to bother with them that much. They sleep in doorways on The Strand and when I worked in the area occasionally one would need to be woken up and asked to move because shop staff were afraid of them.
