I've got no reason to hate Mother's Day but for anyone who does need cheering up today - since I've met my partner I've had to learn
It's 'wivvya' not the infinitely more boring 'with you'
It's 'gaa'n aaaht' and certainly not 'going out'
'Gels' not 'girls'
I've just got used to his way of speaking rather than my own way. And sorry - I need cheering up today as not feeling well - so for anyone else who needs a smile - I've got no intention of going back to my old more prosaic way of speaking.
I have no family of my own but my partner has a large family so I kinda feel drowned out by them and love it!!
At the end of the day, who wants the more prosaic way of speaking?
There's also a very choice convo going on next to me in the cafe about bodily functions
