To ask for hair straightener recommendations

My GHD's have given in! Really need to buy hair straighteners as my hair looks awful in its natural state. I've got thick hair with stubborn kinks.

Please recommend me hair straighteners which are reasonably priced as I really can't afford GHD's (they did last 10 years!! 🙈)

Watching with interest as my GHDs are 16 yrs old this year and I'm waiting for them to die...

I replaced my 16 yr ghds with the ghd platinums after many hrs watching you tube reviews. They are incredible.

Cloud 9s. I love mine. Never got on with GHDs though.

Remington Shine Therapy! I've got really thick hair and I binned my GHD's in favour of these.

Remingtons are really good and a lot cheaper than GHD or cloud nine

I had these and LOVED them for straightening - they’re really good. But I found after a few weeks my hair ended up like straw. My hair is fine though so maybe that’s why.

I replaced my ghds with cloud 9s recently and I wish I hadn't !

Loreal Steampod. I find it straightens my hair better than the GHD's did. I have fluffy fuzzy hair

I'm considering the new GHD for DD at Christmas. Need to do a bit more investigating but seem to be quite well thought of although not exactly cheap.

I have a set of Kipozi straighteners from Amazon which I love. I thought it was just me but I heard my hairdresser recommending them to someone the last time I was in. I got a pair of wide plates for about £30/40 so might be worth a gamble.

I second Loreal Steampods. My hair has never looked better. It’s in excellent condition and
perfectly straight. It’s also the only set of straighteners ever which gives me straight hair lasting two days. On day two I may only need some minimal fixes here in there.

I have a Diva which I'm happy with.
