Is it okay to just pass a taught masters?

Basically I'm doing a postgraduate taught subject (no break from UG).

Had a high 2.1 (yay me) but I'm hating my masters course content. Feel I rushed into it because I did not get a job, didn't spend enough time looking at course content at different universities. Not really enjoying the course, don't really want to do the diss. (I wish I had taken a year out)

I feel I maybe just maybe can get a merit, but if I 'just pass' is that bad? No way in hell I get a distinction.

Also MNHQ once this thread is 'finished' (as in people respond and I have my answers to take away and reflect) please delete this post, thanks.

That's not how MN works.

On your actual question, it depends what you are doing it for. Work, I look if someone has one, I don't care about the grade. There may be jobs and education where people do care.
