Now doing 2 people's jobs on a part time role

I have a job I vaguely enjoy (don't hate it at least) and have worked here for 10 years. I get a great pensions, work from home and they are fairly flexible. Team are lovely and am well respected - perks are great and know I'm very lucky

My issue is someone has just left and they have given me their entire job role, no extra money just an expectation that I'll fit it in. This person was full time and I'm part time, I haven't lost any of my current role. I definitely had some flex in my week (my manager didn't know this) but what I've been given is ridiculous.

I've tried to talk to her but unfortunately this is a corporate job so this happens all the time and it falls on deaf ears. She is also doing 3 people's job roles. I feel so torn as the team are great and love the perks but I'm drowning (and suggesting I talk to her or her boss about it will not work as I've being trying that for weeks. Also they said no to any extra money just told me I could come back full time if I wanted but I don't as my daughter is only 1 and like having Fridays with her)

So:

YANBU - although the perks are great they are taking the mickey so look for something else

YABU - The perks are great and most jobs are like this so just suck it up and get on with it

I don’t think it’s either of the above, keep doing your role and make sure it’s done well. Do what you can of the other role and every week send the email with what you weren’t able to cover due to lack of hours. Just don’t do all the work because you don’t have time but push it back to them.

Agree with @Newusernameaug push back what you can't get through. Are they recruiting? If not, have a look at what else is available.

Agree with above.
After a while ask whether you can apply for more hours of work.
