Physics cause the shower curtains to be attracted to the water.

Are you sure it's not airflow, with the hotter steamy air exiting at the top being replaced by cold air entering at the bottom pulling the curtain in towards you?

Either way, shower screens are the way to go.

Attach a few of those weighted tablecloth clips (that stop your table cloth blowing off in the garden) to the hem & problem solved.
