It had to be spent this weekend, what would you buy?

My options for consideration would be
Massage/spa day
Fancy dinner out
Horse riding lessons

I wouldn't do shopping with it and if I really had to choose of the above it would probably be the horse riding. (Not something I've done before but wanted to do for ages)

A facial and a dcuk with welly boots... random but there you are....

BansheeofInisherin · 13/03/2023 08:13

I just bought myself an Arts Pass for a birthday treat. Otherwise, I would go to the theatre.

OverHereTryingToFigureItOut · 13/03/2023 08:15

A gig or the theatre

PurBal · 13/03/2023 08:16

I actually have a spa voucher I’m using this week. So excited. Otherwise: theatre or travelling to Europe to visit family (flights aren’t that expensive).

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 13/03/2023 08:19

Theatre tickets

bumblingbovine49 · 13/03/2023 08:24

I'd definitely do the horse riding .

whyhere · 13/03/2023 08:36

Craft materials.

louderthan · 13/03/2023 10:35

£100 will probably only get you two riding lessons, and lots of riding schools ask for block bookings of 6.

louderthan · 13/03/2023 10:37

If it was me I'd take myself to London for the day and go to an art exhibition, then have a really nice lunch and drinks somewhere, or afternoon tea.

FishChipsMushyPeas · 13/03/2023 11:37

A pile of books and a Stanley beaker thing that keeps your drinks really cold (and theres no way I can afford otherwise)

PrawnofthePatriarchy · 13/03/2023 11:41

Perfume I have very little money but I often wear perfume that costs more than my whole outfit. Makes me feel luxy.

Dixiechickonhols · 13/03/2023 11:42

I got a dermalogica facial and some nice new gym clothes in the sale.

Floralnomad · 13/03/2023 11:43

I wouldn’t do the horse riding unless you can afford to carry on with it regularly . I’d go to the theatre .

MintyCedric · 13/03/2023 11:45

I did a mini spa afternoon at one of the Bannatyne places a few months ago…half hour each facial and massage plus access to facilities (pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi etc) for £45.

it was lovely, so I’d do that, followed by pottery painting then get myself a nice bottle of wine and a takeaway for dinner.

defi · 13/03/2023 11:51

I'd go for a sports massage

If near London, I have recently enjoyed
To Kill a MockingBird
The Lehman Trilogy
The Crucible
Big sparkly musical like Mama Mia, The Lion King or Les Miserables
Not seen Cabaret yet but you might enjoy it.

A silver bracelet

Isledelaray · 13/03/2023 12:07

A pair of sunglasses from Oliver Bonas that I love.

Or 4 lovely new cushions for our sofas as ours need updating!
