dd stayed there before all ok
party will be going in until 11pm and dd has been asked to stay over
her dad says she should go he feels all ok I’m worried about alcohol or other behaviours - dad says we are never going to stop these things. Today I’m panicked thinking what if someone were to bring drugs? Or spike her
for context I work in a role where I deal every day with the risky side of life exploitation, teens using drugs, rape etc.
i also took drugs when I was a teen and ended up in hospital perhaps this has jaded me.
iv had so many conversations with dd she says she doesn’t want to drink or anything she just wants to dress up dance and have a nice time.
am I being over the top?
or Am I being too relaxed in allowing her to go?
