Ok another one from the gem that is Farcebook!!

I write a status about having had a teenage crush on someone on the book of the Farce - ok all well and good.

I fall asleep- then wake up and log in to FB to see what's going down. Underneath my status where was a comment with a gif that signified 'cringe' iyswim - and then another comment saying "oh I'm sorry I've now deleted my original comment - I didn't mean to cause offence"

Now I'm dying to know what the original poster said - and am feeling rather embarrassed if the other person cringed at his (since deleted) comment ?

I feel I'd have been much better off if the poster hadn't apologised them I'd not be aware of it at all ? Why oh why does FB do this to us??!!

Can you message them & ask what they'd put? Could have been a drunken post or one that they thought was first but reading back to themselves realised it could be taken another way. Could be they were being a dick & someone called them out on it (via messenger or something).

Could well be actually. I didn't think of messaging them directly but that's a possibility. I diff D.C. my mention this in my OP but this bloke has mentioned on fb that he's autistic and the struggles he's had with it
