I’ve name changed as I don’t want my personal posts linked.
I’ll try to be to the point as possible. if you are using packlink for anything please beware. In fact do yourself a favour and avoid them completely.
At the start of January I sent a parcel inside the U.K.
A week later the customer told me it hadn’t arrived even though it said delivered. After a bit of digging (30 seconds worth to be precise) the customer and I ascertained that the parcel had been delivered some 30 miles from him so I opened a lost item report. This was a clear cut and shut simple case.
I informed packlink immediately, showed them their error myself so you would think I would get a speedy resolution? Wrong.
We are now approaching the 60 day time limit outlined in their own terms. Do I have my money? Nope. Am I likely to get the money before their 60 days runs out? Highly unlikely at this stage.
I refunded the customer weeks ago yet it is almost an inconvenience for packlink to return my funds. It’s like they think I’ll go away if they just keep ignoring my emails.
AIBU to think packlink should refund customers in a timely manner. What other company would get away with such a slow turn around for refunds?
Ive had lost parcels before. No other courier has ever treated me so poorly. Luckily it’s only £35. Had it been a lot more I could have been significantly out of pocket.
