Over the past couple of days the BBC have shamelessly advertised the new David Attenborough series during the news. It was headlining the 10 O’clock news this evening! While I have no doubt the new series will be amazing the news is not the place to advertise it. We have many more important issues to talk about worldwide. If any of the other channels advertised their programmes through the news there would be an outcry (and rightly so).
