Are you a different person irl to your Mn persona?

I'm told I have an rp accent and on the odd occasion I swear the family used to joke I sounded like the queen swearing. But on Mn, I let my hair down big time and swear quite freely and it's liberating. [Not to irl is my choice].
Are you quiet irl and loud on here? Or the other way round? Kick ass and subdued on here ?

Pretty much the same, besides commenting on the dilemmas of random strangers.

I am more circumspect about my opinions in real life, obviously.

No one I actually see wants to know my opinion on skinny jeans or whether it’s ok to wear shoes in the house. And if the conversation came up I wouldn’t want my quiet inner snobberies to bother them.

I’m more outspoken on here than in RL. Have to pretend not to be GC in real life for professional reasons.

The idea of being MORE oneself in the virtual world is a strange one, and runs against what we’re always told about online being fake and illusory. But there ye have it.

I think the same but I have to say less in real life to keep my job...
