To think Evri are making it impossible to contact them on purpose?

I sent a parcel through vinted weeks ago and it is still at the depot. Vinted have cancelled the transaction. So I am now out of pocket!

I have tried to email them on the contact form but it is rejecting it as I haven't put a subject. The drop down doesn't have an option for a drop down.
When I am phoning, the automated voice us saying it can't recognise the tracking number.
The online chat, also automated, is saying it is at the depot. Which it has been for weeks?
What the hell am I supposed to do? 😡

Can you start a claim. They've obviously lost it. When they were Hermes the same happened to us with a personalised bike frame. It was still showing at a depot.
Found it on eBay long before they responded to anything.

YANBU see also HMRC and numerous other big orgs who have designed their systems to make it impossible to contact them.

EVRI are terrible when there is a problem. The fact you can't speak or communicate with a human being when there is an issue, is part of the problem and actually causes a lot of the frustration. When my parcels didn't arrive before Christmas (I was waiting for 4), I emailed the CEO. Only then did somebody get in touch with me. First by email and then they phoned me but it got resolved and I got all but one of my parcels!

Not use them ever again is unfortunately the only thing you can do

You shouldn't have been out of pocket, did you send Vinted proof that you posted the item? If you did the parcel would've been marked as lost after certain amount of time, the buyer would be refunded and the money would've gone in to your Vinted balance

Evri consistently deliver my parcels to the wrong (albeit slightly similar, but with a different postcode!) address. Nothing I do in the way of contact makes any difference. I now refuse to buy from companies that use Evri.

Parcel I sent years ago went missing & I never got any response from Evri. I emailed, phoned, tweeted. Nada. Parcel was low value so I gave up... on reimbursement or ever using them again.
