When I was a child I mean very young my younger brother touched me inappropriately, this happened a couple of times until I told my mum and she spoke to him and it never happened again.
I never even thought of it again we have always been a close family and were very young when it happened.
Anyway after a few too many drinks over Xmas I brought it up asking if he remembered, I don't know why I asked I was tipsy and should've left it in the past.
My brothers wife was disgusted and they left and didn't contact the family until now SIL says she can't look at me now without that thought and doesn't want to stay in contact and my brother is standing by her which means I don't get to see my brother or nephews again and I just don't exist to them anymore, apparently so she can move on from it.
AIBU to feel a massive injustice here?
