On the Bus, Watching Videos Sound On

Curious as to who is BU.

On the bus during commuter hours (5-6pm) with a woman playing videos on her phone on loud enough for other travellers to be huffing. She is playing a CBBies show for her 4/5yo DC.

Bus is pretty busy, but not packed (huffers could move, but not to a double seat).

Who is BU?

YABU - she is being unreasonable - it is selfish and rude to play your music/videos out loud on transport

YANBU - she’s just trying to manage her DC on the bus

We’ve literally just had this exactly thread except it was a restaurant not a bus. Go see the replies there.

If this is a real thread then j genuinely don’t understand why people would be so annoyed on a bus. If it was the restaurant then yes it would be annoying but totally different situation.

Yes, it is anti social to play videos with sound on public transport.
