To speak to neighbours about their dogs?

Just looking to see what anyone else would do in this instance?

Get on very well with our next door neighbours, speak all the time, we’ve been there for drinks, we’ve been to theirs, they give birthday presents and Xmas presents to our little girl.

However, they have two little dogs and for some reason at 7:15, 8:15 and 10:15 every night they let them out the back I assume for the toilet but they bark and they bark loud each time probably for around 5 minutes until they get bored and go back in the house.

Our little girl(20 months) is an absolutely terrible sleeper at the best of times but this wakes her every time as her room is at the back right next to their garden, and I can be up to hour trying to get her back to sleep.

This has went on since before she was born but wasn’t an issue before but is now. I know I need to speak to them and I think they will be embarrassed if I tell them but I know I need to but don’t want to ruin the nice friendship we have with them.

Any suggestions on how to carefully bring it up with them?

Dog owner here.
I would want to know
I would hate the thought of my dog disturbing someone

Same. I go out with mine to make sure she doesn’t bark

would want to know too, but I let mine out at 11.30 pm, if they see a cat/squirrel/fox/leaf they will bark.Theres 3 other neighbouring dogs barking into the night, god knows why they're out there 24 hours!I will go out but sometimes it can't be helped. It won't be forever,
