To take ethamsylate (brands: Cyclonamine, Dicynene, Dicynone, Haemostop) for bleeding in pregnancy? Any experience?

I’ve just gone on holiday abroad while 12 weeks pregnant and of course this is when I start having bleeding… They were great in the hospital and checked baby with an US. Seemed fine but the bleeding still hasn’t fully stopped.

I’ve been given some progesterone tablets which I’ve started taking and also tablets with ethamsylate in it. I’m not sure about the later as there’s not much info on it when googling, don’t think they give it in the UK in pregnancy but was wondering if anyone has experience with taking them maybe abroad?

Also, have you been given any meds or vitamins, etc. if you were bleeding in the first or second trimester? Were you told to rest? Thanks a lot!
