School trusts- a law onto themselves or do they actually report to anyone?

My school and a bunch of others are part of a trust. Trust head takes away a £101,000-110,000 salary. I’ve contacted trust head with some queries. I’ve received no response. Aibu to think these trusts where someone is siphoning off a huge salary out of the public purse don’t seem to be directly accountable?

Are you asking as a parent or a teacher? If a parent, did you go through your children's school first with the queries? If not, it might have been passed back down to them.

The CEO is accountable to the Trust Board.

I suppose it depends what you contacted the Head about and, as PP says, if you went through the school.

If it is a complaint then there will be complaints procedures published online.
