To be worried about NK Cells test bleeding and clotting?

Sorry to post here but gets traffic

I went for NK Cells recently in coverntry and didn't realise it was such an invasive procedure.

I was told to expect spotting and I found it very painful.

No bleeding for the first few days then had intercourse and bleeding is getting heavier and has clots in it.

Is this normal? Has anyone else had the tests? Also what Did they take out of me as they didn't actually explain what they were doing I didn't ask as this whole journey is becoming somewhat of a trauma .

I'm sorry you've had such an awful time. I had 2 biopsies at Coventry Tommy's for the nk cells test. I'm sorry they didn't explain, mine were explained in detail and they showed me the sample. They collect uterine tissue when you're in the luteal phase (between 7 and 10 days past ovulation) to measure the nk cells.

I had cramping and spotting after mine but no heavy bleeding. If its been a few days since, is this when your period would be due? I seem to remember mine came early after my first biopsy.

I'd call them tomorrow to see what they say. But if you're bleeding and cramping is severe overnight, maybe call 111 or your local out of hours gynae x

Please contact your Gp or fertility specialist. Some spotting is to be expected but heavier bleeding after several days may be due to an infection.
