To start a beauty business?

I am currently a student and my course requires me to do full time placements so I can't commit to a job.

I'm struggling for money and with the dip in income, especially in the current climate.

DS is 4 and ExDP (his dad) can be very flakey.

I was thinking of training in something like lash extensions (although a very saturated market in my area). Maybe something like waxing? I don't know.

My friend says I am crazy to even considering it with my already busy schedule.

AIBU to consider this or could it be a good idea?

I would take on an ironing job rather than beauty. You'll have a high outlay for products, you'll have to take time to advertise and people cancel. It's not as easy as it sounds.
